Now in it sixth year, Crescendo! is Hawai'i Vocal Arts Ensemble's annual dinner and silent auction fundraiser.  The funds raised each year go to our main educational outreach activity, the Hawaii Vocal Masterworks Festival, a week-long series of masterclasses and rehearsals for high school and college-age students in conjunction with our Festival choral activities. This is a priceless educational opportunity for our young musicians and community singers alike.

One of Honolulu's premiere charity events, Crescendo! is set in the fall at a private downtown club. This fabulous evening will feature first-class entertainment by the Ensemble, a delicious banquet of fine food and no-host cocktails provided by our upscale host venue, and a silent auction.  The auction includes fine works of art from local artisans, gift certificates to the finest restaurants on O'ahu, and vacation packages, among other specialty items.  Mahalo to all of our generous silent auction donors and gracious honorees.

Crescendo! is a celebration of artistic excellence in Hawaii—and the Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble’s most important annual fundraising activity. This year’s Crescendo! on April 18, 2009 at the Oahu Country Club will honor multi-faceted musician Don Conover.
